That Girl Started Her Own Country – A Sequel To The First and Last Novels To Mention Hemp
September is here, and before its time for the harvest festivities, why not relax in front of a nice fire or on the porch with a great book?
Remember I told you that the “Count of Monte Cristo” was the first novel in the world to mention hemp, and in the sequel a small seed was planted making “The Sultan of Monte Cristo” the last novel to mention our favorite herb? Well, get this: The story jumps to the 21st century in “That Girl Started Her Own Country“, and contains a cameo appearance by the former KGB spy and ex-wife of the ‘King of Pot’ with a mention of him via his royal title!
The last chance to download a free copy of “That Girl Started Her Own Country” from Amazon.com begins Saturday morning at 12:00 AM and ends Sunday night at 11:59 PM Pacific Time September 8th and 9th, but those with an Amazon Prime account will have until the end of November. If you can’t wait, buy it now for $9.99 on Amazon – Click Here
This latest book in the “Count of Monte Cristo” series will have your head reeling with action-packed intrigue. There are even rumors that the sensuous Scarlett Johansson will play the role of the book’s heroine Zaydee in an upcoming movie based on “That Girl Started Her Own Country”. Her sexually overwhelming beauty combined with her Swedish heritage is in line with the thrilling story.
The actor to play the role of journalist Steven Larson is currently being voted on via a web site dedicated to the book at ThatGirlStartedHerOwnCountry.com
Internet forums are buzzing with speculations that either Stieg Larsson wrote the book or that his common law wife, Eva Gabrielsson is behind this quickly rising sequel to the Count of Monte Cristo.
One fan noted “That Girl Started Her Own Country” should not be associated with the Larsson “Millennium Trilogy” because standing on its own merit, it would overshadow “The Girl With the Dragoon Tattoo” series.
In a strange twist to the story line, the protagonist Larson becomes involved in Illuminated Publications Limited, which is coincidentally the name of the publisher of “That Girl Started Her Own Country”. Gabrielsson announced through Svenska Dagbladet that she did not know UK based Illuminated Publications, and she also claimed to be surprised that 1% of the proceeds from book sales are to be paid to her. We are trying to make contact with Illuminated Publications, hoping to acquire a stake in the company before the book becomes a number one best seller.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best Suspense Thrillers Ever!,
September 6, 2012 By Brooke St. Claire (Baltimore Metro Area)
After downloading, “That Girl Started Her Own Country” for my Kindle, I had no idea that I was about to read a mystery/suspense/thriller that would keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Due to the brilliant writing, you feel you are there with the main character every step of the way. This book is literally almost impossible to put down!
Zaydee, the violet-eyed protagonist, is mysterious and fascinating on so many levels. She is a jet setter and businessperson extraordinaire, fluent in many languages, and adaptable to any situation. She is sharp and cunning, with a razor’s edge wit. The secondary character is Steve Larson, a journalist, and the only man that Zaydee has ever truly loved. Therefore, Zaydee uses the myriad of resources at her fingertips to protect Steve from evil forces out to destroy him, while providing him with a story that will expose a worldwide conspiracy of epic proportions!
Federal and International agencies have labeled Zaydee as “Princess Jane Doe,” since no one has been able to discover her identity. Could Zaydee really be planning to found an island country populated and ruled mostly by women…an Amazonian culture? How will she achieve this? Will she achieve this? What is next for Zaydee?
This story takes you on a global journey that is exciting, suspenseful, fast paced, and intriguing. Who really controls and manipulates the world? How will this expose’ affect life, as we know it? How does Zaydee play into all of this?
When I finished the book, I wanted more, so I did some research. “The Sultan of Monte Cristo” is the first in this series of books written by Holy Ghost Writer. There will be six books in this series, a sequel to the Alexandre Dumas classic, “The Count of Monte Cristo.” I cannot wait to read “The Sultan of Monte Cristo,” and am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.
Since we don’t know the identity of the author, Holy Ghost Writer, it will be intriguing to read the books and look for clues. Is HGW the real life Zaydee, or is he/she someone else connected to the story? We need to read the books and find the clues…so exciting!
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of suspense, mystery, and an extraordinary plot that could have real life connections!
5.0 out of 5 stars Fast paced and imaginative, September 6, 2012 By Imogen Wiltshire
I enjoyed this immensely. I heard about it in a reading group discussing The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and conversation about whether this could be the fourth book in the series… Not sure about that, but I’m glad I followed it up as it is equally well written and exciting.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Book, September 6, 2012 By jenny31
This was such a great book! Once I began reading “That Girl Started Her Own Country”, I couldn’t put it down. This book captured me with its mystery and action. I like the character of Zaydee and how she commands a room no matter where she is, even in prison. The plot of the book is one that grabs the reader’s attention from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until the end. I can’t recall any time while reading the book where I was bored. I certainly didn’t want the book to end. In the meantime, I plan on going back and reading the author’s first book.
I am also a fan of Stieg Larsson’s books and definitely see the same writing style and even some similarities in the characters. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of these books as they come out to see if there really is a connection!
