Again we are seeing a similar pattern with the Pending hemp bills in Indiana: More Restriction on a plant that is already legal.
“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our Cannabis laws, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.” – (adapted from Henry Ford)
Indiana HB 1137 legalizes CBD explicitly. This is the better of the bad bills.
Indiana HB 124 defines CBD oil as <0.3% THC and >5% CBD.
Indiana SB 370 sets up hemp program. State helps get seed. 4,000 acres minimum in 2019.
Indiana SB 371 bans “Nobacco”-type products. Resin and viable seed ok. Doctor recommendation only, certain medical conditions only for CBD.
Indiana SB 52 requires CBD products be “zero THC” and provides defense for consumers for drug test interference. Typo referring to nonexistent IC 35-48-1-28? Its Chapter 3.5 1(a)2 appears to say cannabinol instead of cannabidiol, another typo?
