Beverage Alcohol Lawyers Explain Hemp In The 2018 Farm Bill

The words “grape farming” never make it into a federal agricultural subsidy bill. That’s because fruits and vegetables are generally not included in federal farm subsidy legislation.

It does not cover viticulture, but wineries eyeing the potential market for cannabidiol-infused (CBD) wine could possibly benefit from the  2018 Farm Bill, which lifts the present ban on hemp production and hemp product sales—at least that’s what I gleaned from the message sent by the California law firm that specializes in beverage alcohol, Hinman & Carmichael, LLP (H&C).
