First hemp processor in America to operate in York county
by Beccah Hendrickson WGAL – YORK COUNTY, Pa.
The first hemp processor in America will be right here in the Susquehanna Valley.
It’s a machine that breaks down the hemp plant, which is a form of cannabis that isn’t psychoactive like marijuana. It is newly legal in the U.S. because of President Trump’s farm bill.
Customers can see all the different ways hemp can be used by visiting the new store on Queen Street called Farmacy.
WGAL News 8’s Beccah Hendrickson explains how the farmer starting the business also hopes to start a hemp revolution.
